Martyn Reed is a British curator, writer, artist and cultural producer. He is the founder of Nuproductions and curator of the Numusic (est. 2000) and Nuart Festivals (est. 2001). He is an independent researcher and Editor-in-Chief of Nuart Journal, the founder of I.C.A.S, International Cities of Advanced Sound Network, co-founder of Tou Scene cultural house, former board member of Urban Nation and regular contributor to Juxtapoz Magazine.
Much of Reed’s work and the platforms he creates are large scale collaborative events that revolve around presenting art as part of everyday life using subcultural strategies of promotion, values and thinking. He has written extensively on street art and related practices and is dedicated to promoting class diversity in the arts.
